On 19 October, the Ningde Times Guizhou New Energy Power and Energy Storage Battery Production and Manufacturing Base Project in Guian New District entered the final stage before going into production.
At present, the first phase of the project is advancing smoothly, and will be officially put into production on 27 October. After achieving mass production, the project will gradually form an industrial ecology, and help Gui’an New Area to build a new energy vehicle, battery and material production base.
It is reported that the total land area of Ningde Times Guizhou new energy power and energy storage battery production and manufacturing base project is about 1,435 acres, planning to build an annual output of 60GWh power and energy storage battery production and manufacturing base, the project will be divided into two phases of construction.
Among them, the first phase of the project has a planned land area of about 885 acres, with a total investment of about 7 billion yuan, and officially started construction in early 2022. It adopts the most advanced high beat, high automation rate and high flexibility production line of Ningde Times, with a designed annual production capacity of 30GWh power and energy storage battery production line and related supporting facilities.
Ningde Times said that the company will take Guiyang as an important base, and jointly build a green low-carbon or even zero-carbon based whole industry chain system from upstream phosphorus ore mining, phosphorus and fluorine chemical battery material production, to lithium battery manufacturing, and extend to downstream application, until battery recycling.
